Ride Calendar - Event View

This is a NO-DROP, weekly ride that starts in the Capitola area and ventures out on the paved roads of Eastern Leon and Jefferson counties. It uses five (5) road courses that rotate weekly:

1^st Friday of the month, FRI01.WacissaLanding(https://ridewithgps.com/routes/56307873). This ride travels to the Wacissa Springs Public Boat Ramp and then returns to Capitola. The ride group stops at the river for a mid-ride break.

2^nd Friday of the month, FRI04.Watermill (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/56307869): this ride travels area roads ranging north to Baum and Jefferson Rds, east to Waukeenah Hwy (SR 259), and south to Old St Augustine Rd before returning to Capitola; the ride group stops in Waukeenah for a mid-ride break.

3^rd Friday of the month, FRI01.WacissaLanding (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/56307873).

4^th Friday of the month, FRI03.IndianMounds (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/56307871): this ride travels to the Letchworth Indian Mounds state park and then returns to Capitola; the ride group stops at the park for a mid-ride break.

5^th Friday of the month, FRI02.CypressLanding (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/56307872): this is a ride to Cypress Landing on Lake Miccosukee and then returns to Capitola; the ride group stops at the Landing for a mid-ride break. (Note: 5^th weeks only occur in 4 months in a calendar year.)

Speeds listed are rolling averages. Expect slower and faster sections depending on topography and weather. Some riders may pick up the pace at points but the group tries to make sure that no one is dropped so long as everyone is able to maintain the advertised pace.  If you are concerned about your ability to keep up, please let everyone know at the start so the ride leader and other riders will know to try to keep an eye on you.
