Riding Not Working Wednesday: Havana (B/B+ pace, 37 or 25 miles)

Pace Miles Pace Group Leader Route
B/B+ (14 to 18) 37 or 25 Self Directed Riding Not Working Wednesday: Havana 37
Riding Not Working Wednesday: Havana 25

This is a fairly hilly ride (by Tallahassee standards) from downtown Havana into southern Georgia and back.  The ride is self directed -- i.e., there is no designated ride leader.  So, the actual ride could vary from this description.

Most riders generally ride the longer route but those who would like to ride the shorter route are welcome to do so.  The longer route has two short breaks and a longer rest stop at the Calvary Baptist Church Social Hall.  The shorter route also has a rest stop at Calvary Baptist Church Social Hall.

This is intended to be a social ride. Ideally, the riders should re-group periodically. Historically, the group has made an effort to make sure that no one who can maintain a B pace was dropped (but make sure you have the route loaded on your phone just in case). Some riders may pick up the pace at points (particularly during the second half of the ride) but hopefully someone will hang back as necessary to make sure that no one is dropped.

Route Note:  There is some long term road work being done along the route. If necessary, the group may need to adjust the route from time to time to avoid road work.

Ride Paces:   A++: 22+ mph   A+: 20-22 mph   A: 18-20 mph   B+: 16-18 mph   B: 14-16 mph  C: 12-14 mph   CASUAL: 8-12 mph
