Wow, that was great, guys. Thank you so much for your participation and for once again indulging me in my delusions of grandeur.
It's hoped that you all got a mental and physical boost from yer exertions and had a bit of, well, "fun". Be proud of your accomplishments because you guys worked really hard out there. Oh, and allow me to delude myself that this short series will give a boost to those who'll ride the Senior Games in the next 2 weeks. To the results:
A big shout-out goes to Dana, "Mr. I'm-still-here-dammit", Stetson for carving a whopping 1:17 off of last week's time. Way to go, Sir!
He is followed by his fierce competitor William "The other Wolfe", Wolfe who knocked this week's time down by 24 seconds. A fine job, I think.
Make note, please, of Michelle, "The Lioness", Crouse's time. While this is her first participation since Spring '24, she bettered her best previous time by 1:13. Not too shabby. eh?
Then, how about the current National Women's Masters Road Champion Joanna Southerland's time? This was her 1st participation and she turned in a time better than two "veterans". You go, Lady!
All other times were very close to last week's performances as you guys continue to show grit and determination. Oh yeah, there's that "suffering thing", too.
Bushels of thanks to Jill Murphy, Brian Fairhurst and Michelle's daughter (...I forgot her name. Apologies.) for coming out to spectate and assist. Your participation was most valued. Please come back again. (...oh, and the pylon survived, again!)
An April series is "in-the-works" and I will get info out to you sometime in March.
