Eric Draper | Published on 1/6/2022

On Jan. 4 the Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency’s Citizen Multimodal Advisory Committee unanimously supported the Thomasville Road Multi-Use Path Feasibility Study. Next is consideration by the CRTPA Board at their Jan. 31, 5:30 pm meeting. The 11 members are elected officials from Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon and Wakulla counties Our Board | CRTPA.

The draft report Thomasville Road Multi-Use Path | CRTPA shows preferred alternatives for four segments from Betton Road to Maclay Boulevard. Segments 1 and 2 follow the east side of Thomasville Road from Betton Road to Woodgate Way. Segment 3 follows the west side of Thomasville to Live Oak Plantation. The final segment follows Live Oak Plantation to Maclay Commerce Drive (also referred to as the Market District Connection).

Those concerned about a safe corridor should stay informed, submit comments to Our Board | CRTPA and attend the meeting.
