Gravel 32 Neil Dimacali Metcalf East Loop

Come ride some of the nicest “Farm-to-Market” clay roads in the Red Hills area that have been in continuous use since the mid-19th Century.

This route is a 32% paved, 68% gravel loop around Metcalf, Ga during their Metcalf Spring Market Festival. (“A fun-filled spring market featuring local vendors, live music and great food! March 8th, (from 9AM-3PM”).  You should consider staying, post-ride, for what looks to be a most festive event.

Park along N. Haines, between Monroe St. and Lily.St (...ride start) Please don't park at the Timber Company Office.

Metcalf has worked for many years to develop & support area cycling. Please come out and help return the favor by supporting the Metcalf community.

* Note that this is a self-supported CCC ride and unaffiliated with the Metcalf Spring Market. (…” self-supported” means no SAG or route signage/turn markings). Please consider riding with others or using the RWGPS route map in a navigation device.

Registration Info

Registration is required
Non-members must pre-register (including a signed waiver of liability) to participate. Pre-registration is recommended for members. Pre-registering allows the ride leader to quickly locate your emergency contact information if needed. Also, members are covered under the club's liability insurance policy and excess accident medical expense insurance policy. In the event of a claim, pre-registration will facilitate the claims process and provide evidence that you were a ride participant. Please note that the club’s insurance policies do not cover non-members. All riders must wear a helmet and follow CCC's other ride rules as posted on this website.
