May Bike Medleys

CCC Bike Madness

Want to have some fun, celebrate cycling, and Capital City Cyclists 40

year anniversary?

During the month of March join in the fun of Bike Madness a socially distanced bike event.

We will use a special Facebook group, CCC Bike Madness , to celebrate everyone's rides. Join this Facebook group where we will post updates, information about socially distanced rides, and you can post pictures from your rides! The goal of the event is to have fun, ride up to sixteen rides in March and move up the ladder. We hope each person will post the rides they have completed along with photos as you go along. We can cheer each other on throughout the month.

We have created a list of rides and included links to route maps for many rides and of course a link to the rides on the Capital City Cyclists website for inspiration. You can use rides from this list or come up with rides of your own. Everything from traditional road rides to single track, to clay road rides, to family rides. Ride some new routes, take photos and post your rides, and have fun biking. To add a little extra spin take a look at the spin list and post your ride as one of these categories or make up your own. Examples include, Pinhook Picnic, Single Track

Samurai, Family (pod) Knows Best, Will ride for Ice Cream (Beer).

Please go to the Capital City Cyclist website to register so we can include you in the Facebook group. You don’t have to be a member to participate. This is a self recording event, be sure to post your rides, photos, and status. In addition, each weekend there will be a guided socially distanced ride available.  For those who don't use FaceBook, the website will include a pdf form you can use to record your rides and if you choose report to us so we can recognize you too.

Everyone who enters starts in the Sweet 16 bracket as you complete rides you move up brackets. Complete 8 rides join the Elite Eight bracket, complete 12 rides join the Final Four; complete 16  you are a Champion. We will recognize riders as they move up in these brackets! Let’s all be champions in Bike Madness!

Let's Ride!
