Special Sunday Classics: Chet Smith ghost Bike Ride
About this event
Let’s meet at Cascades for a leisurely ride to join the Smith Family's 10:00 AM ride and ride back at whatever pace suits everyone.
"This ride will mark the one year anniversary since Chet Smith, Jr. was struck by a vehicle and killed while riding his bicycle. The ride will start at the North Trailhead of the St. Marks Trail and go south to the site of the incident on Shadeville Rd. where a Ghost Bike will be permanently place in memoriam. There will be a police escort along while riding on Shadeville Rd. The community has been continually supportive over the last year and the Smith Family is so appreciative. We will have the Ghost Bike in tow on the way to the crash site. We hope to see you there. With Love, The Smith Family
