Marcia is not available tomorrow, so Laura and I are leading tomorrow’s Ride to an Eat ride. The group will leave from the Southwood town center at 9 am for an out and back ride down to Wakula Station. Almost the entire route is on off road paved trails or slow speed neighborhood streets. My guess is we will roll along at 14 to 16 miles an hour, depending upon how the group is feeling.
The total ride is about 28 miles, however, because it’s an out and back, riders are welcome to turn around at any point if they want to cut the ride short. At the end of the ride, we will reassemble for lunch at one of the restaurants in the Southwood Town Center. If the weather is decent, we may eat outside. Although, if it’s too hot we’ll probably eat inside. Feel free to go to lunch in your bike clothes, or bring a change of clothes with you if you think that will be more comfortable.
