Summer West Lake Road Ride 12 to 16mph 27-34 miles

Route description:
The route covers some beautiful tree lined country roads with a couple of challenging hills to get your blood pumping, but most of the route is slightly rolling hills. There are some nice short sections where you can do some spirited pace line riding at around 18-22mph.
We regroup periodically and there is a rest stop at the end of New Monticello Rd at Hwy 90. From there, those riding 27 miles will continue up Hwy 90 heading back to the starting point. Those riding 34 miles will turn around and ride back the same way they came, past the start point and ride on to the boat ramp on Reeves Landing Rd, then turn around and return to the start.
This is a NO DROP group ride but not a Beginners ride. All safety equipment is required.

Non-members are recommended to pre-register for FREE or sign the quick release waiver of liability to participate.
Pre-registration is recommended for members. Pre-registering allows the ride leader to quickly locate your emergency contact information if needed.
Members are covered under the club's liability insurance policy and excess accident medical expense insurance policy.
In the event of a claim, pre-registration will facilitate the claims process and provide evidence that you were a ride participant.
Please note that the club’s insurance policies do not cover non-members. All riders must wear a helmet and follow CCC's other ride rules as posted on this website.
