A Taste of TOSRV
Capital City Cyclists is offering a spring long weekend ride called A Taste of TOSRV this year. The ride will be April 23, 24, and 25th and about 60 miles of the ride will be on the TOSRV route of beautiful South Georgia country roads. The ride is limited to the first 25 club members that sign up and there is no fee for the ride. The ride will start in Thomasville GA, on the first day we will ride up to Moultrie GA, a 45 mile day. The next day will be another 45 mile day to Albany GA. The last day will be a 40 mile ride down to Meigs. We will then ferry people back to their cars in Thomasville. There might also be the option to ride back to Thomasville if some people want more miles on the last day.
The club will provide sag vehicles and some riders will take a shift driving unless we are able to get volunteers to drive the sags. Each rider will be responsible for their own motel nights in Moultrie and Albany as well as their meals. With the sag vans we’ll be able to transport people to restaurants in the evenings and carry riders' luggage so you won't have to ride with loaded panniers. The sag vans will also provide some snacks and water along the way.
The first 25 people to sign up on the cccyclists.org event calendar web page will be included in the ride. In case more than 25 people want to register, we will maintain a waitlist and conact people if a slot opens up.
Finally, after registration we will provide a link to the ride with GPS files for each day of the ride and additional information about hotel options in Albany and Moultrie GA.
