Join FSU Cycling & Gulf Coast Velo for the 4th Annual Seminole Cycling Classic! Enjoy a full weekend of collegiate and category racing with racers from all over the Southeast racing to compete for glory!
The Seminole Cycling Classic takes place 20 minutes east of Tallahassee is a beautiful southern town of Monticello and pastoral scenery painting the sky. Whether you are a new racer or an experienced professional, the Seminole Cycling Classic has something for everyone. Saturday features a challenging 13.5 mile hilly road race course along Bassett Dairy Road. Last year, race fields were blown to pieces and riders came in small group. After the road races, a collegiate and open category 7 mile time-trial. After the races on Saturday, racers and spectators will gather at the Mays House B&B for a home-made style dinner, live music and podium award!
Sunday features a spectator friendly 0.5 mile downtown criterium. Racers will start on N. Jefferson St sweep around past the courthouse and up the back part of town. You can eat your lunch at the Monticello Brick House Eatery and watch the races at the same time.
Proceeds from the race goes to support the grassroots FSU Collegiate Cycling team and support them in their races in the South East Collegiate Cycling Conference.
