One of the primary missions of Capital City Cyclists is to advocate for safe use of bicycles as transportation and recreation. We for fill this role through education and working closely with our local city and county planners to continue to make Tallahassee a great place to live and to ride!

Many Capital City Cyclists member help foster the creation of and currently sit on the Joint City/County Bicycle Working Group. This group provide recommendations (through the Planning staff) regarding proposed cycling-related projects, improvements, events, and ordinances that are considered to be of community interest and for the betterment of the Tallahassee-Leon County community.
